Working together for a more vibrant New Hope

I’m Brock Ray, and I’m running to stay on New Hope City Council because I believe local government should be responsive, approachable, and focused on making life better for the people who live here.

My Priorities

Keeping New Hope Affordable

Preserving affordability and quality of life for current and future residents.

Strengthening Our Retail Core

Creating a stronger city center with more local businesses and community gathering places.

Protecting Green Spaces

Protecting the parks, trees, and natural resources that enhance our community.

Growing Civic Engagement

Building a more transparent and accessible city government for all residents.

Why I’m Running

Service has always been a core part of who I am. It’s how I was raised, and it’s shaped both my professional career and my community involvement.

I’m running because I believe local government should be responsive, approachable, and focused on improving everyday life for residents. Real change happens when people show up, stay engaged, and commit to the long-term work of building a stronger community. That’s the approach I bring to City Council.

Over the past 10 months on council, I’ve worked to encourage greater public participation, support our immigrant community, advocate for thoughtful neighborhood-focused development, and engage with organizations and leaders across the Twin Cities to help bring new ideas and opportunities back to New Hope.

Moving New Hope Forward

I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished over the past year, and I’m excited about the work still ahead. If you’d like to learn more about my priorities or get involved with the campaign, I’d love to hear from you.
